Static asset delivery

This hostname serves static files — images, stylesheets, scripts, fonts and downloads — for applications running on HelloWorld Cloud. It is not a website; there is nothing to browse here. Requests are answered from the nearest edge location and cached according to the origin's headers.

Caching rules

Fingerprinted files are immutable and may be cached indefinitely. Everything else honours the origin's Cache-Control; when the origin sends none, the edge applies a conservative one-hour TTL.

Purges propagate across the edge within about 30 seconds. A purge is a cache operation only — it never deletes anything at the origin.

Problems with a file?

If an asset is missing or stale, the answer is almost always at the origin rather than here. Check the object exists, then compare the x-cache and age response headers before filing anything.
